Virtual Volunteer Education Session: Understanding Alzheimer’s & Dementia

We’re excited to partner with the Alzheimer’s Association to offer a special virtual volunteer education session on Zoom on Thursday, February 5th from 5:00–6:00 PM!

This engaging session will break down what Alzheimer’s disease is and isn’t, while covering key differences between Alzheimer’s and dementia, common stages and risk factors, current research and treatments, and helpful caregiver resources.

Our guest speaker, Jasmine Rathor, Community Educator with the Alzheimer’s Association Northern California Chapter, brings both professional expertise and lived caregiving experience to this important conversation.

This session is open to all LBFE volunteers and is a great opportunity to build confidence and deepen your understanding. To learn more, email Debbie at duchida@littlebrotherssf.org.
